Bookazine
Oracle Database Migration to AWS
Bookazine had maintained an on-premises data center in a co-location facility that housed business-critical Oracle Database Servers. As a result, they were paying a large amount of hardware and hosting costs.
SoftArt, as their Managed Service Provider, was supporting and continuously monitoring their Oracle infrastructure. SoftArt had, during its technology business review, identified the benefits of migrating to the cloud and started
preparing the scope of work.
Having selected Amazon Web Services (AWS) as their cloud provider, Bookazine leveraged SoftArt's cloud specialists to help them migrate to AWS and to provide ongoing management of their infrastructure. At the same time, disruptions
weren’t an option.
The Cloud Migration project was a resounding success.
After the success of the project, SoftArt continues to support Bookazine via Managed Services to ensure that their databases are running continuously.
